Thin White Line - J.A Templeton

J.A Templeton Website:

I loved The Mackinnon Curse series but I'd have to say that I loved Thin White Line so much more. J.A Templeton just has a way with words. Well reading this book I felt like I was right beside Kenzie as she was going through the rollercoaster of life. The ups and the downs of dealing with your parents being divorced. Also not to mention the love interest or should I say interest(s).

I whole heartily recommend this book and The Mackinnon Curse series to all. They're both great in their own ways and I believe are enjoyable for teens and young adults.

Good girl gone bad...

Kenzie's picture perfect California life is turned upside down when her father leaves the family for another woman. Within months, she goes from private school and posh beachside living to public school and a sub-par apartment in rainy Washington.

On her first day at her new school, Kenzie is reunited with her cousin Brooke, a rebellious senior who sings in a popular rock band with two of the sexiest men Kenzie has ever met.

Kenzie is soon swept into a world of partying, concerts and tattooed bad boy rockers. Just when she starts to feel like she finally belongs, a single night and a fateful decision changes everything.

Unraveling - Micalea Smeltzer

Micalea Smeltzer's Website:

I purchased this book a few days ago for $0.99 and I have to say it's one of the best purchases I have ever made! I absolutely fell in love with Katy and Jared's story. For both of them to go through such tragic things in life was breath taking.

When Katy and Jared first met in this story I knew that they were going to get together but actually reading it was the best part. Micalea Smeltzer showed true destiny at work during this book. I'd  have to say this is one of the best books I've read recently! I 100% recommend this book.

Katy Spencer's life feel apart two years ago. Since then; she's closed herself off. She's the shell of the person she use to be. The only person she trust is her best friend Rollo, but even he can't keep the nightmares away. Then she meets Jared. He's the first man she's been around since the event that she's not afraid of. He makes her heart race, not in fear, but in a fluttering that could become something meaningful.
Jared can tell that Katy is broken. He sees something in her eyes that he's often seen reflected in his own.
Jared is determined to get to know her.
He wants to solve the mystery of Katy Spencer.
He will... unravel her.

Reunited - Hilary Weisman Graham

Hilary Weisman Graham's Website:

Okay so it's been a while since I first read this book but I was going through my kindle and I came across it and just had to read it again.

Reunited by Hilary Weisman Graham is a journey of 3 ex-best friends finding their way back to each other. I absolutely loved the twist and turns this journey had to offer the readers. It was a story that needed to be told. There was so much adventure as these girls rediscover themselves and their friendship the last summer before college. So 3 completely different girls who are pretty much strangers now set out on the journey of their lives in THE PEA POD.

So pick up the book Reunited by Hilary Weisman Graham and join the journey of rediscovering who you really are.

1 concert. 2000 miles. 3 ex-best friends.
Alice, Summer and Tiernan use to be best friends-as well as the self-proclaimed biggest fans of the band Level3. But when the band broke up, so did their friendship.
Now 4 years later they've just graduated from high school. When Level3 announces a one-time reunion show in Texas, Alice impulsively buys tickets and invites her 2 former friends along for the trip. Reluctant at first both girls agree to go, each with her own ulterior motive. But old resentments and other roadblocks-from unintended detours to lost concert tickets-keep getting in the girls way. Will their friendship get an encore, or is the show really over?

SEND - Patty Blount

Patty Blount's Website:

SEND by Patty Blount had me so captured by the first page that I couldn't stop reading it until I was finished. The twist and turns throughout this book had me so intrigued that I never knew what was going to happen next. Patty Blount just has a way with words and she leaves you wanting more. This book not only captured my full attention but my full emotions too. I've cried from books before but never as much as I did when I read this story.

Dan is struggling with his past; trying to move on and let go. Yes he made mistakes but he is trying to fix them. No one really see's the real him until he meets someone that makes him feel alive and trapped all at the same time. Julie and Dan both struggle with making the people around them happy. Can the bond these two share deify all odds? You will NOT be disappointed in this read so I strongly suggest you checking this wonderful read out! :)

It's been five years since I clicked SEND.
Four years since I got out of JUVIE.
Three months since I changed my name.
Two minutes since I met Julie.
A second to change my life.
All Dan wants for his senior year is to be invisible. This is his last chance as a semi-normal life. Nobody here knows who he is. Or what he has done. But on his first day at school, instead of turning away like everyone else, Dan breaks up a fight. Because Dan knows what it's like to be terrorized by a bully-he used to be one.
Now the whole school thinks he's some kind of hero-except Julie. She looks at him like she knows he has a secret. Like she knows his real name isn't Daniel...

Crossing the Line - Katie McGarry

Katie McGarry:

Okay so what can I say about Crossing the Line by Katie McGarry except that it did not disappoint. Not to mention the sneak peek of Beth's story; coming May 28th. I loved the short novella that included Lila McCormick (Echo's best friend) which we got to know in Pushing the Limits and a new character Lincoln Turner. I absolutely loved how Katie McGarry used the concept of letters throughout the short story to give us a deeper look into Lila and Lincoln's relationship.

As Lila is dealing with figuring out what college she want's to go to and trying to figure out why Lincoln lied to her. Lincoln is dealing with problems at home and trying to figure out his life. What's the best solution and how can they be happy. Read Crossing the Line (Short Novella) by Katie McGarry to find out! :)

Lila McCormick first met Lincoln Turner when tragedy struck both of their lives. But she never expected their surprise encounter would lead to two years of exchanging letters or that she'd fall for the boy she's only seen once. Their relationship is a secret, but Lila feels closer to Lincoln then anyone else. Until she finds out that he lied to her about the one thing she depended on him for the most.

Hurting Lila is the last thing Lincoln wanted. For two years, her letters have been the only thing getting him through the day. Admitting his feelings would cross a line he's never dear breach before. But Lincoln will do whatever it takes to fix his mistakes, earn Lila's forgiveness and finally win a chance to be with the girl he loves.
