Crush - Lacey Weatherford

Lacey Weatherford's Website: http://www.laceyweatherfordbooks.com/

Let me just start of with saying that I was not expecting that twist at the end of the story. It's amazing how the author kept us from finding out Hunter Wilder's secret until the near end of the story. I really enjoyed reading about how Cami and Hunter's love grows and how much he fights his attraction as long as he can in order to protect her. I especially love when he finally tells her his big secret. Overall an amazing read that will leave you wanting more which is good because the story isn't over yet.

Secret Girlfriend - Bria Quinlan

Bria Quinlan's Website: http://briaquinlan.com/

I actually found this book a couple of days ago and thought it sounded like a fun read. I really enjoyed how the author brought the characters alive. I have to say that I was rooting for Luke the entire time I was reading. I was so happy with the outcome of the story and I can not wait to read the second book in the series coming soon!

Since her mom died, Amy Whalen's been invisible--but not in the cool, superpower kind of way. Overlooked at school and ignored at home, Amy holds tight to her few constants: running, painting, and her long-held crush on soccer god, Chris Kent. But as senior year nears, Chris doesn't just notice her, he needs her.

Amy will agree to almost anything to be with him.

Everything is great--sort of--until Luke Parker shows up for soccer tryouts and sees through every one of Amy's defenses. When Luke decides he wants Chris's spot on the team and wouldn't sneeze at the captain's jersey either their rivalry spins out of control.

It doesn't help that Luke also wants the girl Chris kept hidden all summer. AMY.

Speechless - Hannah Harrington

Hannah Harrington's Website: http://www.hannahharrington.com/

I first came across this series a few months ago at my local library. It took me about 2 hours to get through it because once I got stared I couldn't put it down. I have to say that Hannah Harrington has a way with words that just drew me into this story. She told a story that involved bullying and growing up. It showed how one wrong act of judgement can change someone's life drastically. The main character of Speechless, Chelsea Knot can't keep a secret and after she says something that changes someones life she only truly understands the consciences of her behavior.

Everyone knows Chelsea Knot can't keep a secret.

Until now. Because the last secret she shared turned her into a social outcast - and nearly got someone killed.

Now Chelsea has taken a vow of silence - to learn to keep her mouth shut, and to stop hurting anyone else. And if she thinks keeping secrets is hard, not speaking up when she's ignored, ridiculed and even attacked is worse.

But there's strength in silence, and in the new friends who are, shockingly, coming here way - people never noticed before; a boy she might even fall for. If only her new friends can forgive what she has done. If only she can forgive herself.

Cinderella Series - Carly Syms

Carly Syms Website: carlysyms.com

I first came across this series a little over a year ago when amazon recommended Cinderella in Cleats. I was so happy that I bought it because I enjoyed the strong female leads and sports aspects of the stories. These stories show how strong females really are and what they can do if they set their minds to something.

I highly recommend this series to everyone who enjoys the strong female leads in books.

It started like any other Saturday; Whitney, her best friend, Jason, and their fathers tossed an old football around in the park. But when her dad dies of a heart attack, Whitney doesn't realize her passion for the sport and her friendship with Jason will never be the same.

Two years later, Whitney's to begin the long journey of re-discovering her love for football, encountering a sexist coach, an unethical but irresponsible opponent, a mustard yellow t-shirt, and Jason along the way.

How many boys, romance, and hits on the field can Whitney handle before it becomes too much and she's forced to throw in the towel of her dreams.

College baseball pitcher Doan Riley was always a good guy until things in his life started to change him. Now he's reckless, angry and has a penchant for getting himself into trouble, though he's always been able to find his way out. Until now.

Holly Shaw's back in town for the first time in years, and she isn't happy about it. She's only in Arizona because she has nowhere else to go and her dad's letting her stay with him until she figures out her next move now that her mom jetted of to Europe with her new husband.

Holly just wants to make enough money to move away...until she gets involved in her father's summer baseball league for the college guys in town.

When she meets her older brother's friend Doan for the first time, she thinks he's rude, arrogant and totally unlikable, but as she gets more and more involved with the team, she starts to realize that first impressions shouldn't always be the last impression.

Thin White Line - J.A Templeton

J.A Templeton Website: http://www.jatempleton.com/

I loved The Mackinnon Curse series but I'd have to say that I loved Thin White Line so much more. J.A Templeton just has a way with words. Well reading this book I felt like I was right beside Kenzie as she was going through the rollercoaster of life. The ups and the downs of dealing with your parents being divorced. Also not to mention the love interest or should I say interest(s).

I whole heartily recommend this book and The Mackinnon Curse series to all. They're both great in their own ways and I believe are enjoyable for teens and young adults.

Good girl gone bad...

Kenzie's picture perfect California life is turned upside down when her father leaves the family for another woman. Within months, she goes from private school and posh beachside living to public school and a sub-par apartment in rainy Washington.

On her first day at her new school, Kenzie is reunited with her cousin Brooke, a rebellious senior who sings in a popular rock band with two of the sexiest men Kenzie has ever met.

Kenzie is soon swept into a world of partying, concerts and tattooed bad boy rockers. Just when she starts to feel like she finally belongs, a single night and a fateful decision changes everything.

Crossing the Line - Katie McGarry

Katie McGarry: http://www.katielmcgarry.com/

Okay so what can I say about Crossing the Line by Katie McGarry except that it did not disappoint. Not to mention the sneak peek of Beth's story; coming May 28th. I loved the short novella that included Lila McCormick (Echo's best friend) which we got to know in Pushing the Limits and a new character Lincoln Turner. I absolutely loved how Katie McGarry used the concept of letters throughout the short story to give us a deeper look into Lila and Lincoln's relationship.

As Lila is dealing with figuring out what college she want's to go to and trying to figure out why Lincoln lied to her. Lincoln is dealing with problems at home and trying to figure out his life. What's the best solution and how can they be happy. Read Crossing the Line (Short Novella) by Katie McGarry to find out! :)

Lila McCormick first met Lincoln Turner when tragedy struck both of their lives. Impossible (With Me #1) - Komal Lewis

Komal Lewis's Website: http://www.komal-lewis.com/

Impossible is an amazing start to a much anticipated series (while in my mind at least). It's about two friends rekinding their friendship after so many years apart. I loved the 2 sides of the story and the switch back and forth from Ashton to Luca.

Luca pushed Ashton away years ago when his father died. The more he pushed her away the furthure their friendship drifted until there was nothing left. The last thing he expected was to renew his friendship with the now stuck up; Ashton who couldn't care about anyone but herself. Or so he thinks...

After Ashton's "new best friend" through her under the bus she had no one left. The last thing she ever expected was to rekindle her friendship with her neighbor and ex best friend; Luca.

Ashton Summers is on her way to becoming the most popular girl in school and nothing-or no one-is going to stand in her way. Especially not Luca Bryon, her freak neighbor; with his tattoos, loud music and distracting green eyes.

Luca Bryon has three goals in life: get through high school with low profile, make sure his garage band becomes something more then a hobby, and try to forget about his insufferable ex-best friend; Ashton, who he can't get out of his mind.

The last thing Ashton and Luca want to do is rekindle their friendship, but when Ashton takes a tumble down the social ladder, Luca-with his new makeover-is the only one who can help her rise up again by pretending to be her boyfriend. At first, being together is unbearable and annoying, but things start to change as Ashton and Luca discover the real reasons they drifted apart 7 years ago.

Now, keeping their hands off of each other seems impossible.

Don't forget to check out the next book in the series; Falling for Hadie coming Febuary 2013 and Wrong Side of Town coming Late 2013.

Pushing the Limits - Katie McGarry

Pushing the Limits (Pushing the Limits, #1)
Katie McGarry's Website: http://www.katielmcgarry.com/

Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry is an absolutely amazing read. Having only recently purchased it back in December 2012 I can say with a smile on my face that I have probably already read it ten times. This was not only a story about forbbiden love but about two people refinding themselves. I loved the back and forth POV for the 2 main characters Echo Emerson and Noah Hutchins. You will not be disappointed with this story one bit!

Echo Emerson was once popular. Dating an all star jock, an older brother that she looked up to and amazing friends. Her life was perfect... At least until that fateful night that left a black hole in her memory except for the white and pink scars that run up and down both of her arms.

Noah Hutchins who was labeled a "problem child" after the death of his parents. After the state split up him and his 2 brothers he was sick of the system. Becoming a womanizing partier he has nothing going for him. Beth and Isaiah; his only friends that have become a second "family" to him. The only this he truly cares about is getting his family back no matter what.

No one knows what happened that night Echo Emerson from popular girl with jock boyfriend to gossiped-about outsider with "freaky" scars on her arms. Even Echo can't remember the whole truth of that horrible night. All she knows is that she wants everything to go back to normal.

But when Noah Hutchins, the smoking-hot, girl-using loner in the black leather jacket, explodes into her life with his tough attitude and suprising understanding, Echo's world shifts in ways she could never have imagined. They should have nothing in common. And with the secrets they both keep, being together is pretty much impossible.

Yet the crazy attraction between them refuses to go away. And Echo has to ask herself how far they can push the limits and what she'll risk for the one guy who might teach her how to love again.
